Apr 26 Devotion: Not Leaving the Juniper Tree

1 Kings 19:4- “But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.”

*why it’s so hard for one to leave their juniper tree: because…

1. their Sight is on the wrong Authority!

2. they’re Swayed to believe they are not good enough!

3. the Seat has become comfortable! of Shame!

4. Self-pity drowns out the Holy Ghost!

5. a Seared conscience justifies staying!

6. Staying has become too easy!
