Thank You
Philemon 1:3-4
[3] Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. [4] I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,
I had a lot of thoughts for today’s devotion, but could never get settled on a certain thing. I spent time praying and seeking God and just kept coming back to this simple phrase:Thank You.
We have now been doing these devotions for a little over a year. It’s really amazing to think about! It’s a blessing to think about the avenues and people God has blessed our church with that has given us new outreaches in the Church.
I’m thankful for those people that God has led to our church that helps in each of those outreaches.
To those of you who also write these devotions each week: Thank You! I don’t tell you enough how big of a blessing each one of them have been. Whether they have been encouraging, or caused me to examine things in my life, they all have been a great help.
To those of you who’ve made these a part of your day:Thank You! Thank you for taking the time to read these each day. Thank you for the kind words from time to time.
I challenge you today to just be thankful! Be thankful for those people and the things that God has placed in your life! Our Pastor preached a wonderful message and I’ll pose to you that today. What if you only had today what you were thankful for yesterday?
