II Tim. 1:6 – Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands

Study – II Peter 1:4-14

Definition -Stir:          To move, to change in any manner

                                       To move into action

                                       To make more lively, excited

Definition – Revive:    To return to life

                                       To renew attention to something

                                       To renew, recover something

1. Revive the work- Place of worship

2. Because of souls – Acts 2:41, 4:4, 2:47

3. Because of stagnation – Proverbs 6:9-11
