What A Great God

Psalm 48:1

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

Someone that is great is above average in their abilities. One of the things that makes Jesus great is his character. It’s hard to believe that there is someone that has never sinned nor had a bad thought, or even made a mistake, but Jesus has never done any of these. His concern for others would be something that would make him great. Jesus was so concerned about humanity that he went to Calvary and he's not willing that any should perish and that all should come to repentance. His care for people and how he protects and provides for everyone, and by him all things consist. What a great Savior. Nobody ever cared for humanity like Jesus did. His conduct is another thing that makes him great. He conducts himself like a real gentleman. He is not rude in his interactions with man. He has never forced himself into someone's life, but has persuaded them through love and kindness to accept him as their Savior. Last of all, his compassion for mankind is what makes him so great. The extremes that he goes to to save a sinner from hell is hard to believe. Going to the cross to pay the sin debt for all humanity. What a great Savior!
