Dec 18 Devotion: Rejoice!!

Psalm 68:3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

All this virus stuff is annoying! Who knows who’s gonna win the election. It’s too cold outside! The traffic and construction is crazy! I could go on and on about all that people seem to want to complain about. Sure those things might get under our skin, but why do we focus on those? What if we chose to rejoice instead?! We are in a time of year that the works takes notice of our Savior! Regardless of what 2020 has put you through, here you are, so you’ve come through! We serve a still risen Savior that loves enough to have met with us at church through a summer like we’ve never seen. We’ve seen people saved, people healed, and God just move through our lives when we needed Him most. While some look forward to 2021 in hopes it’s going to be better, we have heaven to look forward to where the Bible gives me some insight on how wonderful it will be! While others around you may be complaining today about any and everything don’t fall into a trap with them. Instead just rejoice!! Rejoice in the love of the Savior! Your rejoicing could uplift them and even help point a lost world to Jesus!

God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
