In The Beginning

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

The new year is upon us, and some will start the new year off with a New Year’s resolution. However, the new year will bring new opportunities: things that God will bring into our lives that we have never dealt with before, but with every opportunity, God will provide every need for those opportunities. There will be new  open doors for each and every one to walk through. Doors to witness to people that we have never met before. Work that we can do for the Lord that we never had before.   People that God will place in our lives to help in some small or large way. There will be objects in our life that the devil will put there to slow us down or to discourage us in our daily life. There will be grace from God to overcome the weight and sin that besets us. This year may be the year we overcome the burdens that burden us down. This could be the year that the Lord returns and takes his bride home.

The new year is a time to thank God for his grace and providing for each and every thing we needed to make it through the old year.
