Dec. 8 Devotion: Preparation starts today

Preparation begins today

Psalm 95:1-7 [1] O come, let us sing unto the Lord : let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. [2] Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. [3] For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. [4] In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. [5] The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land . [6] O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. [7] For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, We hear a lot of references to verses 1 and 2 here in making a joyful noise. I want us to focus a little on that word come. When you come into His house for services are you prepared? Preparation isn’t about saying a little prayer right before you head to church. We should be so prepared before each appointed time that we can’t wait to get to the Lords house to see what He is going to do! When we spend true time with Him each day we prepare ourselves and we will head to church with: 1. A song in our heart vs 1

2. A thankful spirit vs 2

3. Acknowledgement of a great and mighty God we serve vs 3

4. A desire to give back what is His vs 4-5

5. A humble spirit vs 6

6. A desire to follow Him vs 7

Will you purpose in your heart to be prepared at the next appointed time so that we may see Him glorified and see God do mighty things in our midst. May God bless you today!!
