Lending A Shoulder

Galatians 6:1-2

[1] Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. [2] Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Have you ever had someone you trusted enough to share things with? That person you felt like you could tell anything to, and then find out that they shared whatever that may have been with others. Have you ever been that person that others could come to? We’ve gotten to a point where it’s tough to find people we can count on to just listen. It seems as if individuals can’t wait to share someone else’s burdens or issues after those things have been shared with them. By no means is it going to solve the worlds problems, but how much could it help if we had someone to talk to without fear of them spreading things around. Sometimes it can be a big help to be able to share your issues, vent to someone, or just have that person to talk to. Instead, people will keep things bottled up. That then leads to other issues emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Are you that person that others can count on, or does nobody come to you because you are quick to share with others what you are told. Be a listener today, instead of a gossiper!

God bless you today!!
