Luke 18:1 – And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Definition of faint-Something without great strength, weakness in spirit,
Loss of courage to go on.
Many have fainted in these days. They see all the troubles, evils, and hardships going on in these days. They feel all the pressure of life against them in serving the Lord. They look at other lives and wonder why they seem blessed with no problems. They compare their life, home, and church with those around them and say why go on. Then they faint under the pressure.
Many look for a remedy to change their situation. They run here and there trying to find a remedy to help them with no results. God’s word gives us the answer. Luke 1:18 says men ought always to pray and not to faint. Plainly stating the remedy is to have a strong Prayer Life.. If you pray, you won’t faint, if you don’t pray you WILL faint. A simple remedy and answer to not fainting.
In closing-Let us check our prayer life and may we strengthen it more by building up our prayer life. I Thess. 5:17 says PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
