Considering Jesus

Hebrews 12:3

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Have you considered the price he was willing to pay for your sin debt? He said no one takes my life, I lay it down. What an act of love that was shown on Calvary.

Have you considered the peace that comes after you've accepted him as your Savior? The world is looking everywhere for peace and cannot find it. There's only one place to find peace, and that's in the Prince of Peace.

What about the position he has given you? He’s placed you in the family of God. You are a royal priest and a joint heir with Jesus.

Consider the place you’re going to because of him. A place where the street is pure gold, the walls are jasper, the gates of pearl. Think about there will be no devil, no temptation, no deceit, no darkness.

One day you'll be in the very presence of God himself. I've never had the privilege of being in the presence of someone important, but because of Jesus, I'll be in the presence of God himself.
