Feb 22 Devotion: The Kind of Revival We Need

II Chronicles 7:14. - "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

I. We need a revival of the Family Altar

    A. God fellowshipped with the first family - Genesis 3:8

    B. This is a Father’s responsibility - I Cor.11:3, Gen. 3:9-12

    C. This is a Mother’s responsibility - Proverbs 31:27

II. We need a revival of loyalty to the House of God

    A. Christians should love God’s House

      I Chronicles 29:3, Nehemiah 10:35-37,Psalm 122:1, Psalm 

      26:8

    B. Christians are not to forsake God’s house-Hebrews 10:25

    C. Christians are expected to reverence God’s House- 

          I Timothy 3:15, Matthew 21:13

III. We need revival of Consecration, Dedication

    A. Our ears to hear right things

    B. Our eyes to see right things

    C. Our hands to do the right things

    D. Our feet to go to the right places

    E. Our whole body to serve and please God

      Romans 12:1-2, Hebrews 12:1-2, II Timothy 2:21

Psalm 85:6 - Wilt thou not revive us again, that thy people may rejoice in Thee.
