Nothing new, just tried and true!!

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Lose weight, save more money, stop a bad habit, be a better person. Those are just a few of the New Years resolutions that people make. What are yours? Whatever they are, if we’d put Matthew 6:33 into practice then we’d be a lot more successful in these other things. When we put God first and just become consumed by Him, then He will take care of everything else. We have a Bible full of examples of those that just placed Him first and how He took care of them no matter what came there way. Even if not the way WE want then we have proof that it will still be alright. 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. So as you embark on this new year, instead of focusing on worldly things that are temporary, place your focus on Him and those eternal things, and see what He will do in your life and lives around you.
