How to Read the Bible

II Timothy 3:16-17 – “16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

I love the Bible. I have been reading it for 63 years since I got saved at the age of 8. I sold my bicycle for $10.00 and my mom ordered a Scofield Bible from Oliver Green for me and I have worn several more Bibles out since then. I love the Bible.

How to Read the Bible

1. Read the Bible eagerly – Acts 17:10-11

2. Read the Bible reverently and thoughtfully -I Timothy 4:13-16

3. Read the Bible diligently – II Timothy 2:15

4. Read the Bible continuously – II Timothy 3:14-17

5. Read the Bible discerningly – Hebrews 4:12
