Jesus Intercession for Us

Hebrews 7:25

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

What a blessing to know that Jesus is praying to the Father on our behalf. His every thought is for our behalf. Sometimes we are guilty of praying for stuff we don't need, but Jesus knows us and exactly what we need. The position he's in to get his prayer answered is that he’s sitting at the right hand of the Father.

Sometimes we don't pray enough, but Jesus is in constant prayer on our behalf. His purpose is to go to God for us. Our text says he ever liveth to make intercession for us. His desire for every one of us is that we are a successful child of God. He's not so interested in us becoming popular and powerful, but that our lives would bring glory and honor to God. He will always get his prayers answered, he always asks for the right thing, and he never has a lack of faith.
