July 29 Devotion: Being a Threat to the Enemy!

I Kings 18:16-18– So Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and told him: and Ahab went to meet Elijah.

17 ¶ And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?

18 And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.

*notice the…

-Fear -v. 17 (Ahab’s)

Note: it’s a natural progression for one to follow after Satan once they have forsaken God!

Quote: “Jesus didn’t die on the cross just to forgive you, He died to change you.  He didn’t die on the cross just to keep you safe, He died to make you dangerous; a threat to the enemy!

Note: if you’re not a THREAT to the enemy then you’re a TOOL for the enemy!

May all of hell shiver upon the very mention of your name!
