I. Deliver Messages - Luke 1:26-31

  A. Angels announced the coming of Christ

  B. Means - God communicates His plans 

II. Protects God’s people - Psalm 91:11

  A. Angels sent to watch over His people

  B. Means - We are never outside God’s care.

III. Brings encouragement - I Kings 19: 5-7

   A. Angel strengthened Elijah when exhausted

   B. Means - God knows when we are weary.

IV. Announce important events - Matthew 28:5-6

   A. Angels announced the resurrection of Christ

   B. Means - God’s greatest victories are worth celebration.

V. Carry out God’s commands - Psalm 103:20

  A. Angels serve God’s purpose faithfully

  B. Means - God’s plans are always accomplished.

VI. Help during difficult times - Acts 12:7

 A. Angels helped Peter escape prison.

 B. Means - God’s greatest victories God can make a way when it seems impossible.

VII. Worship God - Isaiah 6:2-3

 A. They continually worship God

 B. Means- God alone is worthy of worship
