Help Lord
Psalm 12:1
Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
The psalmist is crying for help. He's looking around and all he sees is wickedness and sin. It's almost like he has lost all hope, but he cries to the one who's more than able to change the worst of situations. The one who is Lord of Lords. The one who parted the Red Sea. He cried to the one who was dependable, not some man who won’t show up in your time of need. He cried to the Lord who is an ever-present help. He cried to one that desires to help mankind. Someone who saw the wickedness of mankind and made a plan to redeem them. Someone who would send his holy and sinless Son to Calvary to pay the sinners’ debt and have a relationship with him. He cried to one who could deliver him from these wicked men.
The days we live in are just like the days he lived in. God is not in the business of removing these types of people out of our lives, but giving us grace to be a light to them and to reach these people with the Gospel of the Lord.
May God bless you,
Bro. Ron Little
