The Challenge Starts Today
Psalm 85:6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
In this spot a week ago I let you know about a fast our church was taking part in. This was done in an effort to get closer to God in preparation for revival this past weekend. It most definitely seemed to work as God showed up and helped people in a tremendous way over the weekend. Even if you read this and don’t attend our church, if you was willing to fast and seek God, I am sure you was able to get some help this past week also. However, where do we go from here? Why is our text verse something we need to say? Why do we continuously have to use the word “again”? See, we allow the devil to replace God in our lives with thin us that shouldn’t be there. We must not allow those things we gave up to take hold of us again. We allow the devil to replace God in our lives with things that don’t need to be there. When we allow those things back into the wrong place in our life we find ourselves in need of being revived again. We must strive daily to always put God first and keep the spirit of revival in our hearts. When we do this we will show up at each service ready to worship and ready for God to send a great revival that doesn’t only affect our church, but also our community and country! May God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
