Let My People Go
Exodus 8:1
And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Many times God sent Moses to tell Pharaoh to let his people go. The desire of God for children is to be free from the chains that bind them. Pharaoh is a picture of the devil and he's always seeking a way to enslave every one of us. The devil has nothing good planned for you, but the sad truth is that God's people enslaved themselves after they were freed. They began to murmur and complain about the difficulties of the hardships along the way. God’s Word states that man born of women is few days and full of troubles. The Bible says that where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty or freedom. It's bad enough for the devil to enslave you, but to put yourself in prison is a sad thing. The cares of the world can control your every thought and keep you discouraged. Freedom is a precious thing and we as the child of God, we must fight a good fight. We must be looking unto the author of our eternal salvation.
God bless
