1. Because it turns the unsaved father away from Christ.
2. Because it hinders young Christians from growing spiritually.
3. Because it hinders the growth of the Church.
4. Because it brings reproach upon the name of Christ.
5. Because it makes a mockery of the power of God.
6. Because it gives temptation an easy entrance into the Christian life.
7. Because it opens the door for false doctrine to invade the Church.
