In the Beginning

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Right from the start of the Bible God gives us information about how everything was made. He knew that people would come up with the theory of evolution, and deny the facts about how great God is. It is comforting to know that the same God that spoke everything into existence is concerned about the welfare of humanity. What love the Father has for people that reject and deny him. He is still willing to save them from eternal damnation. The God of glory that is responsible for creating the galaxies, that is past finding out is willing to listen to the prayer of ordinary people, and invites them into his presence. It’s humbling to know that someone of the status of God would desire a relationship with humanity. The only thing of value in us is the fact that Jesus sought us out and saved us. Some people believe they're the reason they are where they are. It does not matter where you are, but rather if you are saved or lost. What you are is because of the blessings of God. God is responsible for everything we have and everything we are. I'm glad I know the God that created everything and he was willing to reach down into the mire and save me!
