James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. If we read all of James chapter 1 it should be uplifting for us. Yes we may have problems that arise, but God is always there! He never lets us down when we turn to Him. Here in verse 6 though I get to thinking about just how we waver in our faith to Him. We go to God and ask Him to take care of our problems yet we waver in our:
-attendance in services
-attention to His word
-our abilities to be used for His glory
This wavering is what causes us to be tossed to and fro like the Bible says. Too many are up and down like a roller coaster in their lives. If we would stop wavering in our service to Him and just trust Him and place our complete faith in Him then it’s no telling what we might see Him do in our lives.
