The Church

1 Timothy 3:15

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

It's amazing how God can give you a thought when your going through a difficult time. As I spent about 4 hours in the emergency room and being poked with needles and everything else that goes along with a visit to the hospital, while laying there I said to myself you can't get any rest. Just like the Holy Spirit, who never misses an opportunity to give you instructions. He said to me this is not a place of rest. This is a place to get your problems fixed. The church is a place where you can find peace and rest. The church is a place to lay aside all the burdens your bearing. It’s a place where you can get help for all the spiritual problems you have. The church is a haven in the midst of all the storms of life. A place to get away from the wickedness of the world. The importance of the church will never be found out until we make it to heaven.
