Oct 5 Devotion: The Dispersing of Darkness!

Matt. 4:16-17- The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which

sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven

is at hand.

The great light here was Jesus! When He shows up He dispels

darkness. He was the living Word and He has blessed us with the

revealed Word so we could have the Glorious Light of the Gospel!

The Dispersing of Darkness!

*when Jesus shows up He sheds light...

1. on the Truth! (Scriptures)

2. on Transgressions! (Sin)

3. in my Troubles! (Sobbing)

4. in my Testing! (Sifter)

5. in my Tracking! (Seeking)

6. in my Tune! (Song)

7. in His Temple! (Sanctuary)

In Jesus there is no variance or controversy. We need more of Him

and less of humanistic philosophy! May Jesus dispel any darkness

in your life today!
