Matthew 14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
Are you afraid? Why? What of? When are you afraid most? We tend to get most afraid during dark times in our lives. Think of this time in the disciples’ lives here in this verse. The storm, the darkness, the tossing to and fro. They were afraid! So it made no sense to get out of boat like Peter did.
Matthew 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. Peter was man just like us. All He did was trust!! Just trust Him today no matter what cause– He’s got you!
