Gone! Gone! Gone!
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
While most payments and banking seems to be done online quite a bit there is something I remember about payment books we would often get. They would have a “coupon” for a pass a payment option. This would allow you to skip a payment till the following month. That payment was still due. It was just now added to the end of the term of loan. It was just passed on till a later time. Just like sins were pushed back in the Old Testament. However, praise God that’s not the case today!! When we trust in Christ and are washed in His blood, those sins are gone!! Christ isn’t sitting and waiting on us to mess up so He can remind us where we messed up in the past. He’s not constantly reminding us of what exactly He saved us from. People around us will remind us of our past sins from time to time, but not Christ! When He washed us from our sins they are gone! Praise Him and be thankful today that your sins are gone!!
