Your Description Of God
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
I’m sure all reading this are very familiar with this passage of Scripture. It is often referred to during the Christmas season. We see all the names Christ can be know as. If someone was to ask you how you would describe Him, how would it be? With the situation we are currently in it is becoming increasingly more difficult for some to keep their sanity. People are searching for answers. They are looking at those that just aren’t as bothered as others by what’s going on in society right now. If they was to ask you how you are getting through , it’s easy to just say the Lord. Maybe even that you are just trusting God. What if they ask you how or why? Could you tell them cause He’s my Savior!! He’s my Prince of Peace! He’s my rock! He’s the one I can depend on! I believe at times we don’t take the time to truly stop and think about what Christ means to us in our lives. How much we do depend on Him and what He truly means to us. What other ways would you then describe Him to others to show just how Wonderful and a mighty God He is?
