An Abundance
Matthew 14:20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
Matthew 15:37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.
A couple of the accounts where Jesus fed thousands. We rightly look at the miracle of how many were fed with what little they had to start with. Here we have the verses that dive into how much was left over that they took up! Ever think about how many people ate, yet there was still leftovers!
That’s how God treats us! We are blessed daily in abundance! You ever take the time to look at the blessings in your life? It’s not that God just blesses, but He goes well beyond our imagination with what He blesses us with. He could just send us a drizzle, but instead sends us showers!!
Ezekiel 34:26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
We live in a country where we have access to complete Word of God, have an abundance of food, more things to entertain us than we can imagine. There are so many more things we could list! Even the blessings we have when we doubt Him!
So when was the last time we just thought about the abundance that God has blessed us with?
