Apr 6 Devotion: My Rock

“My Rock”

Psalm 31:3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Throughout this entire pandemic thus far it’s amazing how much misleading information there is out there. What’s worse than that is how many people will read something on the internet, or see something on tv and just take it for gospel. I even seen where CBS ran a story this past week claiming to show how crazy a hospital was in New York. Only it was refuted when someone pointed out that the footage was from a hospital in Italy. Of course they claim it was a mistake, but I personally don’t believe a mistake like that can just happen. So much of this seems to be done to keep people in fear by leading them into emotions of fear and despair. All the more reason why we should be dependent on God to lead and guide us through all situations in our lives. Too often people depend on the news or others instead of God. When we spend our time in prayer and study we learn to jus depend on Him. Allowing Him to lead us through any storm that may come our way. When you get to the point that He is your rock you won’t let the trivial things that go on in this world take the lead in your life. As I’ve heard it stated many times: “ We all have problems, but do your problems have you?” If He’s your Rock, and you’ll allow Him to lead you, then you’ll have peace no matter what comes your way!

God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson Miss seeing each of you!!
