The Verse
John 3:16
There is a verse within God’s Word that’s known by quite a few. It tells of love from God above that comes to me and you. That special love is proven and displayed upon a tree. The Lamb of God was offered on the cross of Calvary. This verse assures all sinners that God’s love to them is real. The “whosoever” adds their name the truth is not concealed. The soul that’s firmly anchored is secured by trust in Him. The saved are blessed forever and delivered from their sin. The Maker of the universe designed the stars above. The heavens tell the glory and the world displays His love. The God of all creatures was incarnate on this earth. The saving plan for sinners required the Saviour’s birth. The verse sets forth the Gospel: God’s son, He gave to die. His love did draw salvation’s plan, His people can’t deny. The verse, so plainly worded yet great riches do unfold. God saves the vilest sinner is the message to be told.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believers in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
