Are You Prepared?
John 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Last Saturday I decided to have a yard sale. It took quite a bit of time to pull everything out and then get it all sorted and priced. It was something I had thought about doing for a long time, but had never taken the time to get everything ready. John tells us here that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us! How excited that should make us that He has now spent over 2000 years preparing that place!! How prepared are you for revival? How much time have you spent in preparation? We can want it to break out, and we can pray for it on a daily basis. However, revival is going to start in our own hearts and that’s going to take preparation. We must first examine ourselves! Where are you in your relationship with Christ? Are we in fellowship with Him? If He shows us anything in that examination we need to confess any sin and get that made right. It’s then we can seek Gods guidance in what we might do for Him in each service. When we’ve prepared our heart and mind we can then allow Him to lead us and discern His voice. Whether He may lead us to sing, testify, or just sit and praise Him!! This all comes with preparation. Not just in desire and prayer, but committing our hearts and minds to be in tune with God. We then will be prepared for whatever it is that God wants and that preparation could be what it takes to see true revival break out!!
God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
