To give up, to depart from, to leave, to walk off, to cease
Thoughts –
1. Everyday preachers are quitting the ministry.
2. Many Bible characters wanted to quit – Jonah, Elijah, Demas
3. Church members probably face more world pressure than us.
Reasons to not Quit “Preacher”
1. When sin is so open – II Timothy 3: 1-7
2. When false teaching is strong – II Timothy 3:8-13
3. When growth is so weak – II Timothy 3: 14-15
4, When the Word of God is so challenged – II Tim. 3:16,17
5. When preaching is not wanted, but needed. – II Tim. 4:1-5
6. When the past looks so faithful and strong – II Tim. 6,7
7. When Reward is future – II Tim. 4:8
8. When some are quitting, some staying – II Tim. 4:9-15
9. When God is remaining Faithful- II Tim. 16-18
10. When we’ve still got some Faithful ones with us. – II Tim. 19-22
