II Timothy 2:1-4

A Soldier -

Has times of rest, sleep, and ease; but the whole purpose of existence is ACTION.

Ephesians 6 deals with Soldiers Armour.

                              Example of Christian Soldier

1. There are some things to put up with -

     II Timothy 2:3 - Endure Hardness

2. There are some things to avoid - 

     II Timothy 2:4 - Entangleth himself with the affairs of this         

     life.

3. There are some things to Remember - 

      II Timothy 2:8 - Christ our Captain

4. There are some things to think of -

      II Timothy 2:10 - The Whole Army

5. There are some things to trust in -

     II Timothy 2: 11-13 - God’s abiding Faithfulness

6. There is something to strive for - 

     II Timothy 2:5 - Strive Lawfully
