Sowing
Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. I’m guessing that’s a phrase most all of us have heard. In relation to our text I’m sure we’ve all heard this: You reap what you sow.
The question is simple today. What are you sowing? Ever get nothing but hatefulness from someone? Is it because that’s all you’ve given them? Why do we get upset if we find someone has been talking about us, yet we’ve been doing the same thing behind their back? Why do we think we can sow based on our selfish and fleshly desires yet expect to reap something greater. We would never sow grass seed and expect a vegetable garden or fruit trees to sprout up. However, if we’d sow things in our life with an aim to please God then we’d reap accordingly!
What are you putting out in this world as you go through your daily walk? You can’t sow hatefulness, backbiting, unconcern, etc and expect something better in return. If those seem to be all you are reaping then maybe you should look into what really you are sowing!
God bless
