Dec 7 Devotion: Jesus is Wonderful to Me

Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace

     In this verse, there are 5 names of Christ – Wonderful, Counsellor, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. All of these together show what a great Saviour we have.

Today – Jesus is wonderful to me

1. Wonderful in His redemption-Col.1:14, Ephesians 1:7, I Peter 1:18-20

2. Wonderful in His offering-Hebrew 10:10,14,18

3. Wonderful His nature-Col.2:9, John 10:30, John 14:9

4. Wonderful in His deeds-John 5:19, Mark 7:37

5. Wonderful in His work-John 7:21, 9:4, 17:4

6. Wonderful in His forbearance-Mark 15:3-5

7. Wonderful in His love-John 15:13, 13:1, 3:16
