Cancel culture is a phrase that has become more and more prevalent in our society today. All it takes is someone to say something that enough people get up in arms about and a group will pressure a company to fire someone, force someone to resign from their job, or try to get people to boycott a business. What’s even worse is that whatever may have been said could have been the truth. However, because people may not like that truth things can get crazy. Our text verse tells us that ALL scripture is given to us by God. However, how much of it do we not want to apply to our lives? Is there any scripture you tend to avoid due to the fact that it hurts when we realize how far we fall short? Those things that may hurt in correction, or those things we may not fully understand are still there for our own good. If we ever want to think about attaining vs 17: 2 Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Then we must be attentive to the entire Word of God and not just the easy to understand or easy to abide by.
