Feb 29 Devotion: The Lily of the Valley

Song of Solomon 2:1 – I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. 2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.

     There are many valleys encountered as the Child of God goes along the pathway of life. We all experience mountain tops and valleys. Jesus is the Lily of the Valley.

The Lily of the Valley

1. He is the Lily of the valley of Despair – II Corinthians 1:8, II Tim. 4:16-18

2. He is the Lily of the valley of Dismay – I Kings 19:4

3. He is the Lily of the valley of Danger – Daniel 3:27, 6:21-22

4. He is the Lily of the valley of Darkness – Daniel 2:22

5. He is the Lily of the valley of Death – Psalm 23:4, Acts 7:54-60 (Stephen learned this)
