Jan 15 Devotion: Let Everything That Hath Breath Praise The Lord

LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD!

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise yethe Lord.

The Lord opened a door and gave me an opportunity today to witness to several people all at once. It was a complete act of God, as one by one each person kept asking me question after question trying to get me to answer some of their biggest questions about God, the Bible, and Creation. Praise the Lord, the Holy Spirit lead me to be able to just give them HIS Word as I watched the Lord begin to deal with their hearts. After this encounter, the Lord put this thought on my heart. Bless HIS Name!

As we see in our text, through HIS spoken Word, God created everything and HE did it all for HIS Glory! With great purpose and design, God brought life to the darkness just as HE still does today! Hallelujah! God does NOT need explanations or scientific facts from the brilliant minds of our day to explain HIM, HE has always been and will continue to be, HE JUST IS! HE IS the master designer and Creator of all things from the beginning whether you and I believe it or not. We know it to be TRUE because God’s Word is TRUTH and HE can NOT lie. To those who have NOT trusted HIS Word and never been born again by the Holy Spirit, Creation to them…remains a secret, a mystery. They can NOT wrap their heads around it, because the glorious light of the Gospel and the Holy Ghost has not imparted this Truth to them or they willingly choose not believe. Christian friend, FAITH is trusting in what you can NOT see. It is believing and KNOWING something to be true, even if you were not there when it happened. We are saved by grace, THROUGH FAITH! FAITH in HIS WORD, FAITH in the person of Jesus Christ, FAITH that God IS who the Word says HE is, and the Word of God says HE was the Creator and in HIM is life, and without HIM there is NO life! The Almighty God is too complex, far greater and exceedingly more powerful than our minds could ever comprehend let alone explain. This is why the Holy Ghost must allow us to trust and believe by Faith, because we surely can NOT comprehend or logically understand all of HIM. HE is the One who designed us and set the limitations upon our understanding. Why would God limit our understanding of HIM? I believe it’s because God wanted to capture us with the wonder of HIM.The Lord gave us boundaries in our minds and our understanding of HIM so we would live our whole lives yearning to know HIM, pursuing HIM, desperately longing for HIS power in our lives and seeking answers and seeking HIM in HIS Word!

Those who have accepted, believed by Faith God’s Word and been born again…when we open up the Word of God, we are immediately swept into the presence of God our Creator. The Lord, through the Holy Ghost, brings us to HIMSELF by HIS Word. HE yearns for us to stop everything going on in our lives (daily) and come face to face with the One who designed us, the One who breathed life into our beings and there in that bold confrontation declare our love for HIM. HE fashioned you to declare to the world around you that HE is the Almighty Creator.

Do you live like you belong to Him? Can the world see HIS work upon your character, attitude, thinking, and the daily life you live? Do you declare HIS Glory in all that you say and do? We were not made for ourselves, but rather we were made for God HIMSELF. The Lord has set HIS affections upon you and HE does not want you to be given to anything else. HE is the Creator…but the question is this: Is HE YOUR Creator? Has God become real to you? The way you live your life will give the answer to those who need to see Jesus. “Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.”
