Talking Could Be The Answered Prayer
Philippians 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
We probably could ask right at the beginning if we are truly taking everything to God in prayer. Oftentimes we do try to get answers or fix everything ourselves. However, what if you are facing something that you have taken it to God and prayed about it, but you can’t just “get over it” or get past it? Then what? We seemed to be programmed a lot to pray about things, but not to talk about things. There are plenty things in this world that people need to grow up and move past perhaps. There are also times when talking to someone else could make all the difference. It could be you need a professional to help you deal with certain things you’ve faced or are facing. You might just need a friend to talk to and help you get some things off your chest or help you get past something. Hopefully we all have that confidant in our lives that God has placed there to help us get past some tough times.
That brings me to the next point. If you’re that confidant do you treat that person that way you’d want to be treated. If someone confides in us it’s not for us to judge them nor to air to others what they shared. God placed you in their life for a reason and you shouldn’t break that trust.
Always rely on the Lord and go to Him first! Don’t lose sight of the fact that He might’ve placed someone in your life though for you to be able to talk to as well to help you get past a tough time in your life.
God bless
