My Supplier
Psalm 23:1
David was a shepherd of a flock of sheep. He was well qualified to write this Psalm. He looked at his sheep and realized what he was to the sheep. The Lord is to us as David was to his sheep.(John 10:11,14). As we look at this one verse we notice
1. The person of our supply – The Lord
2. The present tense of our supply – IS
3. The personal reality of our supply – My
4. The provider of our supply – Shepherd
5. The provisions of our supply – I shall not want
David was saying as a shepherd provides all the sheep needs. The Lord is the supplier of all we need as His sheep. I am so thankful I can say – The Lord is My Shepherd.
