I. It pleases God for us to be born again-

  A. It is essential to become a new creature - II Cor. 5:17

  B. It is essential to see spiritual things - John 3:12

  C. It is essential to understand spiritual things - Heb. 11:3

II. It pleases God for us to have assurance of salvation.

  A. Can have assurance of salvation - I John 5:12,13

  B. It is a must to have assurance before we witness

  C. John 3:7

III. It pleases God for us to be led by the Spirit.

  A. Walk not after the flesh - But after the Spirit - Rom. 8:1

  B. Live in the Spirit - Walk in the Spirit - Galations 5:25

  C. Be filled with the Spirit - Ephesians 5:18
