God Notices

1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Ever do something and wonder if anyone notices? Not saying you are looking for recognition, but just think it would be nice to hear a “thanks” or “job well done.” In our flesh we can become to caught up in a title or a position, as well as looking for recognition. However, no matter what the world may offer, it is here today and gone tomorrow. The Bible tells us something about doing things for worldly accolades.

Matthew 6:19-21

[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: [20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: [21] For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Our first text verse let’s us know that he will exalt us in due time. Whether that is during our time here on earth or in eternity, all that truly matters is that we have done what He wants us to and we may be exalted by Him! As you go thru your day don’t get caught up in what world may say or not say. Don’t let the devil get you down.

2 Thessalonians 3:13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.

Instead just look unto Him!!
