Excited to Worship
Acts 3:7-8 [7] And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. [8] And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
This lame man would sit daily at the gate of the temple to ask alms of anyone walking by. We now find Peter and John have given him far more then he expected to receive. His feet and ankle had received strength and now he is walking for the first time! Another miracle that’s overlooked at times is that he not only had the strength to walk, but immediately knew how to walk! He knew what God had done for him and as he entered into the temple he was walking, leaping and praising God. He wasn’t questioning why he was lame from birth. He wasn’t asking why him, and why he had went all this time before God had healed him. Instead he knew how God had blessed him now and he went into the temple ready to worship God: thankful for what God had done for him. As we start camp meeting tonight how will you enter God’s house this weekend? We all have problems. We all may wonder why certain things have taken place in our lives. However, we’ve all been blessed with far more than we deserve. We all have SO much to be thankful for! Will we enter the sanctuary as this once lame man did? Will we enter excited and thankful for all God has done for us? Will we enter looking to worship Him? There’s no limit to what God may do this weekend if we show up ready and excited to worship Him!
God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
