Darkness

John 3:19

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Darkness is a picture of sin, evil, and wickedness. The Bible says that men love darkness. They prefer darkness over light because light reveals who they are. In the book of Genesis, we see the power of darkness. The every thought and imagination of man was evil continually. That's why parents have to train up a child in the way they should go because we are prone to do wrong. Only by the grace of God will we choose to do right. The presence of darkness is everywhere you go. Darkness is seen in the wealthy as well as the poor. The absence of money is not the reason why men do evil. The reason men do evil is because their heart is evil and needs to be changed by accepting Jesus Christ. People believe that church will change them. The only problem with that is the presence of God is not in most of our churches. The truth is not being preached. Hell is a place of darkness, and if people are not saved, they'll live forever in a place of darkness.
