The Lord is my Shepherd
Psalm 23:1-6
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
The Lord is a providing shepherd. David said I shall not want. Jesus is capable of providing everything that a person needs in this life. He is the only source of salvation even though there are many people that claim that can provide eternal life, but they are dead and in the grave. Jesus is the only one that has an empty tomb. Jesus is the only one that can supply peace to someone that is hurting. People are searching everywhere for something that will fill the void in their life and bring them peace, but they're not willing to look unto Jesus, the Prince of peace. Jesus gives rest and maketh me to lie down in green pastures. The Lord is able to restore the inner man and that's what the world needs is a relationship with God. The good shepherd will remove the fear of death and goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life praise the lord.
May God bless you
