Trust in the Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

In a world that's filled with deception, there is only one person in whom you can totally put your trust, and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. The government is corrupt and always struggling against each other, and never able to come to an agreement on anything for the better of our country. There are so many lies being told in the church today that a lost person would be so confused about how to have a relationship with God. You can't put trust in your own heart, because the Bible says the heart is wicked and can't be trusted. If you look to people, you will get discouraged because they're human and they will let you down, but there is one that's never failed, and that's the Lord. I've failed him many times, but he's been faithful to me. It's hard not to put faith in one that was willing to go to Calvary, and suffered on the cross, and paid my sin debt. He has been faithful to me and promised never to leave or forsake me.
