An Eternal Quarantine
Revelation 20:11-15 [11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
I’ve seen a lot of funny memes, as well as some cool made up games over the past week. People being stuck to stay inside or work from home has produced some very funny moments. After only a week it has also produced a lot of complaints. People not liking being stuck inside in certain areas. Families already pulling each other’s hair out! While it may be uncertain times, this is still just temporary. This virus will be gone at some point, and slowly we will all get back to our normal lives. However, there is coming a time when being “stuck” somewhere will be exponentially worse than what it is right now. There is coming a time when we all will reach a final destination that will be eternal. If you’re reading this and you’ve been saved when was last time you just thanked God for someone being there when you didn’t even realize what you needed. When was last time you were thankful for His saving grace!! If that is you, then I’d also ask that you pray today for those you may know that are lost. May this virus open an avenue for you to talk to them about where they will spend eternity and not just a couple weeks or so. If you’re reading this and you are lost. Reach out to our church, or someone else that you may know that can share the Gospel with you so that you can be saved. You don’t want to spend that eternal quarantine in the torments of hell!! God can and will save you today!!
God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
