Mar. 24 Devotion: Love Of Country?

Love Of Country?

Since 2016 we’ve seen many changes come about in our country. We’ve seen a large part of the country become consumed with one man: President Donald Trump. Part of that group does all they can to tear him down. It’s been over 2 years that he ran the country, but they still want to blame him for anything bad that takes place. You then have another part of that group that unfortunately has gotten to the point that they worship the former president. There are people that look at him like he can do no wrong and worship the ground he walks on. The thing that made him so popular is the fact that he ran on putting America first. People were so tired and frustrated of where our country was headed that putting America first really resonated with people and helped him win. Then we see what happened in 2020. Now here we are in 2023 and our country is almost unrecognizable. The blatant sin people live in and celebrate is atrocious. The rampant satanic displays are horrendous. All these things going on and we say that we want things to change. We say we love our country and are ashamed, disappointed and upset at what has become of our country. We claim that we want things to change and for our country to return to being a Christian nation. If we wan that to happen then which one of these 4 things are you lacking? 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. God tells us He can heal our land. Are we too prideful, and not willing to humble ourselves? Do we not pray? When was the last time we truly sought His face? Is it simply we enjoy our sin too much and we won’t turn from our wicked ways? God gives us the blueprint enough to see our country changed. Do we love it enough to do our part to see it changed?

God bless you today! Bro. Josh Richardson
