Something New

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

We all have favorites. Our favorite teams, places to eat, tv shows, etc. Most of the time we tend to not get away from our favorites. If you go out with my youngest daughter Bella you can bet she is going to order chicken wherever she goes. Too many times it’s that fear of the wilderness so to speak that keeps us from trying something new.

God tells us He can make a way in that wilderness, even rivers in the desert!!

However, He can only do that if we are willing to allow Him to do something new. We get in our comfort zone in our everyday lives and aren’t willing to venture out at times. What if God wants to use you in a way that you’ve not been used before? Are you willing to allow Him to use you? Using the excuse I’ve never done that before is not acceptable. It’s that fear of something new that can rob us from the blessings of God.

What if God wants to send a revival like we’ve never seen before at our church? Would you be willing to lay aside the distractions of this world to ensure you aren’t a hindrance to revival?

There can be many things God could use us to do in our lives, or in the lives of others if we would allow Him. Don’t let fear, pride, or anything get in the way of God doing something new for you today!!
