Let My People Go
Exodus 5:1
And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.
The reason that God wanted his people set free was so they could go and worship him. Them being slaves and making bricks for Pharaoh was not the main reason for their release. The devil will always fight when you're for worship. That's why most churches are dry and restrict the worship of God. The Bible says where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty or freedom. The word worship means worth. Those of us that have been saved by the grace of God know that God is worthy of more worship than we can give him. True worship of God will rearrange the church service and it will not go according to your plan, but when God gets the worship due him, his presence will show up. Our goal should be to be in the presence of God. God deserves all our worship.
May God bless you,
